Commercial Account Executive – South WalesThe Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to manage and develop an existing portfolio of commercial insurance clients while driving new business opportunities across South Wales.

The successful candidate will have strong commercial insurance knowledge, established insurer relationships and a proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients, maintaining strong relationships and high service standards.
Identify opportunities for account growth, cross-selling and new business.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, converting leads into long-term clients.
Generate new business through networking, referrals and local market knowledge.
Develop relationships with insurers and underwriting partners to secure suitable cover and competitive terms.
Provide professional advice on commercial insurance products, risks and policy requirements.
Work closely with internal teams to manage business from initial enquiry through to renewal.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Commercial Account Executive, Commercial Broker or similar.
Proven experience managing commercial client portfolios and developing new business.
Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products.
Established insurer and underwriting relationships.
Good knowledge of the South Wales business community and local networks.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
A commercially driven, proactive approach.
Motor trade insurance experience would be advantageous. xwwtmva
