Electrical Facilities Engineer - Arena
Nottingham
Help bring the events to life.
Nottingham | Permanent | 40 hours per week
Maintain the venue. Help bring the events to life.
Imagine working somewhere that hosts major concerts, live entertainment and professional sporting events, rather than maintaining the same production line or commercial building every day.
We're recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the facilities team at one of Nottingham's best-known sporting and entertainment venues.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified electrician or maintenance engineer who enjoys variety, solving problems and taking responsibility for keeping a busy venue running safely.
You don't need previous experience working in live events. If you're electrically qualified, have good maintenance experience and are happy working around an event schedule, we'd like to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
You'll be part of the team responsible for maintaining the venue's electrical infrastructure, plant and building services, while also supporting the technical requirements of concerts, sporting fixtures and other major events.
Your responsibilities will include:
Check you match the skill requirements for this role, as well as associated experience, then apply with your CV below.
What we're looking for
We're interested in hearing from Electrical Maintenance Engineers, Maintenance Electricians, Building Services Engineers and electrically biased Multi-Skilled Engineers .
You'll need:
Experience with building services, BMS, HVAC, temporary power or live-event environments would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
Working hours
This is a permanent, 40-hour-per-week role .
As the venue hosts concerts, sporting fixtures and other events, you'll need to be comfortable with a flexible working pattern that includes some evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
If you're looking for a fixed Monday-to-Friday, 9-to-5 role, this probably won't be the right opportunity. But if you enjoy variety and want to work somewhere different, it could be a great fit.
Why consider it?
Interested?
Whether you're currently maintaining a hospital, university, shopping centre, commercial building, industrial facility or another busy site, your experience could be highly relevant.
You don't need an events background. You need good electrical skills, a hands-on attitude and the flexibility to work in an environment where no two days are quite the same. xwwtmva
