Your new employer is one of Northern Ireland's leading Civil and Building Contractors who specialise in delivering schemes across the Province to Private & Public Sector Clients. With offices based in Tyrone & Belfast, they have established themselves as an award-winning employer who boast a growing order book heading into 2027 and have an excellent record of both staff retention and progression opportunities. Currently seeking to hire a suitably qualified Site Engineer to join their team on an initial temporary basis, this contractor solely operates in Northern Ireland and will never require you to travel outside the region. With an annual turnover in excess of £60million, this is a stable and welcoming environment to join and one that can ensure your work in either civils or building disciplines to suit your skillset.

Your new role
We are currently seeking a Site Engineer with 3-5 years' experience to join a flagship building project. The successful candidate will take a lead role in quality assurance and quality control activities, ensuring all construction works are completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, industry standards, and client requirements. Working closely with the site management team, subcontractors, and consultants, you will carry out inspections, manage quality documentation, monitor compliance, and identify and resolve any non-conformances. You will also be responsible for maintaining inspection records, supporting the preparation of handover documentation, and undertaking setting out and verification checks where required. This role is an immediate requirement and would favour someone based in the Omagh or Co. Tyrone area.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a degree qualified Civil or Construction Engineer with a minimum of three years post-graduate site experience. However, applicants with a different educational path should not be deterred from applying.
You will be an ambitious individual with a real interest in developing your career with an award-winning Northern Irish contractor. Experience of running a site is preferential, as well as being health and safety focused. You will be immediately available or working a shortened notice period. Furthermore, you must hold a valid CSR, CSCS or SMSTS certification.
