Senior Building Surveyor

Our London building surveying team has a gap at senior level, offering a Senior Building Surveyor the chance to run their own instructions, develop junior staff, and progress toward Associate and beyond.

Behind the London office is a national consultancy offering a full range of building surveying services. It works closely with agency and investment colleagues who pass instructions across the team. Duties of the Senior Building Surveyor to include:

Running landlord and tenant dilapidations through to negotiated settlement
Leading technical due diligence on industrial, logistics and office acquisitions
Contract administering and project managing refurbishments up to c.£5m

Preparing planned maintenance programmes for portfolio clients
Advising on party wall and rights of light matters
Writing fee proposals and developing follow-on work
Reviewing reports and supervising apprentice surveyors

The Senior Building Surveyor will ideally have:

MRICS with strong post-qualification experience
A commercial consultancy background covering both project and professional work
Dilapidations and contract administration experience
A track record of managing clients and generating fees
Experience mentoring junior surveyors

In Return ?
