Band 3 Higher Clerical Officer( Part time Temp)

Honeycomb are currently recruiting for a Band 3 Administrative Assistant to join a team within the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust. This is a Part-time Temporary post.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking for a part-time role within a busy healthcare environment.

• Location-Belfast
• Hours-20 hours per week Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 2:00pm

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide effective administrative support across the service, with duties including:

• Providing reception cover and welcoming visitors and service users
• Minute taking at meetings and accurately recording actions and discussions.
• Audio typing and preparation of correspondence and documentation
• General administrative and clerical duties
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records
• Archiving and organising older files in line with Trust procedures.
• Data entry and updating administrative systems.
• Handling telephone calls and enquiries professionally
• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative requirements

Essential Criteria

Applicants must meet one of the following:

Option 1:

• At least 1 year's administrative experience, and
• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English

OR

Option 2:

• At least 3 years' administrative experience

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicating with colleagues and members of the public
• Experienced in general office administration
• Comfortable with minute taking and audio typing.
• Able to work independently and as part of a busy team.
• Professional, reliable and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Ideally experienced within a healthcare or public-sector environment, although this is not essential.
