Are you an enthusiastic Primary Teacher looking for your next teaching opportunity in January? A welcoming primary school in Slough is seeking a committed Year 3 Teacher to join its team on a full-time, long-term basis.

This role would suit a teacher who can make learning engaging, build strong relationships with pupils and support children as they progress into Key Stage 2. You will have the opportunity to develop pupils' confidence, strengthen their core skills and create a classroom environment where every child can succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons across the Year 3 curriculum.

Build on pupils' Key Stage 1 learning as they transition into Key Stage 2.

Teach core subjects, including English and maths, while delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.

Use assessment to monitor progress, identify gaps and inform future planning.

Adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and additional needs.

Establish clear routines and promote positive behaviour.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to support pupil development.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Has experience teaching in a UK primary school; Year 3 or wider KS2 experience would be beneficial.

Has strong subject knowledge and effective lesson-planning skills.

Can create an inclusive classroom with high expectations for all pupils.

Demonstrates confident behaviour management and positive communication.

Is organised, proactive and committed to improving pupil outcomes.
