The Role

As Digital Lead Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging computing lessons across the primary age range.

Lead the development and improvement of the school's computing curriculum.

Promote effective use of digital devices and technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Support colleagues in developing their confidence and skills in computing and digital learning.

Monitor curriculum standards, assess pupil progress and identify areas for improvement.

Champion online safety, digital literacy and the responsible use of technology.

Keep up to date with developments in computing education and educational technology.

Work collaboratively with the wider staff team to improve outcomes for pupils.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a Digital Lead Teacher who:

Holds QTS and has experience teaching within a primary school.

Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for computing.

Can deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils' digital skills.

Has the confidence to lead curriculum development and support other teachers.

Understands online safety and responsible technology use.

Can evaluate provision, use assessment effectively and identify priorities for development.

Is committed to inclusive education and helping every pupil succeed.
