Cleaner – Croydon Office (Ref: 974)

Hourly Rate: £16.05 per hour, £8,346pa, plus Outer London Weighting Allowance of £948 pa (pro rata).

Location: Unit 6, 17 Whitestone Way, Croydon, CR0 4WF

Hours of Work: 10 hours a week working 6 pm to 8 pm, Monday to Friday

A vacancy exists for a Cleaner based at the Union’s Croydon Office.

Principal duties are: to provide a cleaning service, ensuring that the building remains clean and hygienic.

The successful applicant will possess: previous cleaning experience in a similar environment; knowledge of COSHH and PPE Regulations and of safe working practices; the ability to demonstrate initiative, judgement and take appropriate action to respond to daily cleaning requests; the ability to communicate effectively; well-developed planning and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines; the ability to respond to change, be adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of the job and the Union.
