The Role

As a Senior CE&I Engineer, you will support the delivery of the HALES project, leading detailed design and providing execution support across the SFM and Remediation Enabling Projects Portfolio. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the detail design process, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and supporting project execution. The role requires close collaboration with team leads and junior engineers, fostering technical excellence.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

Proven leadership capabilities to deliver electrical, control, and instrumentation scopes on complex projects.
Extensive experience designing and specifying:
Electrical supply distribution systems to BS7671
UPS and motor drives
Mechanical handling systems or cranes
Process instrumentation and safety systems according to BS EN 61508 or Sellafield ES 2100 standards
SQEP status as a checker in relevant disciplines.
Ability to obtain SC clearance and P1 Pass before commencing work.Desirable skills include front-end project definition experience, familiarity with CE/UKCA marking, designing radiometric instruments, protective security systems, or programmable electronic systems like SCADA.
