This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Engineering professional to join a market-leading manufacturer in a highly visible leadership role. The business is looking for a hands-on engineering leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, supporting engineers, solving problems and driving improvements, rather than managing purely from an office.

Role Description

Lead and develop the engineering and maintenance team
Drive Health & Safety standards and engineering best practice
Support engineers with technical issues, fault finding and breakdowns
Develop training programmes and apprenticeship schemes
Manage engineering budgets, projects and capital expenditure
Monitor engineering KPIs and site performance
Develop and improve the CMMS system
Drive Continuous Improvement and reliability initiatives
Work closely with production and senior leadership teamsSkills and Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in a Senior/Engineering leadership role within manufacturing
Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams
Strong maintenance and reliability background
Comfortable providing hands-on technical support when required
Experience with CMMS development and maintenance systems
Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing experience
Project management experience
IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification beneficialCompany Information
