Assistant Parts Centre Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading independent automotive parts retailer with nearly 40 centres across the UK, to find an experienced and proactive Assistant Parts Centre Manager for their Weston-super-Mare branch. This is a fantastic Assistant Parts Centre Manager opportunity for a skilled professional seeking to progress their career within a reputable and expanding company in the motor trade industry.

Oversee daily operations of the branch, managing a team of approximately 10 staff including Parts Sales Advisors, Drivers, and Warehouse Operatives
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, focusing on sales growth, margin improvements, and delivering exceptional service
Handle high volume inbound and outbound calls, ensuring proactive engagement with customers
Collaborate effectively with internal teams to meet customer requirements and enhance product knowledge
Use business data to identify growth opportunities within different customer segments and product categories
Support the Centre Manager in achieving operational targets and ensure team performance standards are maintainedRequirements for the Assistant Parts Centre Manager position:

Recent or current experience within automotive trade parts, telesales, or a similar supervisory/management role
Live within reasonable commuting distance to Weston-super-Mare
Full UK driving licence is essential
Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and sales
Proven leadership ability to manage and motivate a team
