Are you an organised and proactive operations professional looking for a role where you can take ownership of logistics, planning and team coordination?

We’re recruiting for a growing business seeking a Logistics & Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate deliveries and installations, and ensure resources are planned effectively. This is a varied role combining team management, scheduling, stock control and customer liaison, ideal for someone who enjoys keeping multiple moving parts running smoothly.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

Coordinating operational schedules, delivery plans and installation activities.

Preparing risk assessments and method statements for installation work.

Managing and supporting a coordination team, including workload allocation and performance reviews.

Monitoring customer feedback, quality issues and non-conformances.

Handling queries relating to deliveries, returns, replacements and installation progress.

Overseeing stock control, inventory reporting and goods-in processes.

Liaising with suppliers, logistics providers and internal teams to coordinate orders and deliveries.

Maintaining accurate operational records and ensuring documentation is completed correctly.

Providing updates on delivery schedules and project progress.

Arranging vehicles, personnel and delivery slots through customer booking systems.

Building effective relationships with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

Ensuring operational activities comply with company procedures and health and safety requirements.

About You

You’ll be organised, practical and confident managing competing priorities in a busy environment. Previous logistics or operational experience would be beneficial, but is not essential.

You should have:

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Excellent planning, organisation and time management abilities.

A methodical approach to administration and problem-solving.

Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

The ability to make decisions, adapt to changing priorities and find practical solutions.

Experience coordinating people, schedules, deliveries or resources.

The confidence to support and motivate a team.

A full, clean UK driving licence.

Salary & Benefits

Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, excluding travel time.
