Lead Mechanical Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering the FEED phase of a major offshore gas platform development.

You will lead the mechanical engineering scope, providing technical direction and oversight across the design of a new offshore facility, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead mechanical engineering activities throughout FEED.

Manage mechanical design deliverables and technical reviews.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Support safety studies and design assurance activities.

Interface with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.

Requirements

Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer.

Experience leading offshore oil & gas projects.

Strong FEED and detailed design background.

Knowledge of offshore mechanical systems and equipment.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.
