HGV Technician

£20.50 per hour | 4 on, 4 off | 7:00am - 7:00pm

We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop. You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HGVs and trailers, ensuring all vehicles remain safe, compliant, and roadworthy.

Key Duties:

Carry out servicing, repairs, and safety inspections.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
Complete maintenance records and job documentation.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
Previous HGV Technician/Mechanic experience.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desirable:

HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
Hydraulic, welding, or fabrication experience.
Experience using diagnostic software.
