The Opportunity

A Tier One Main Contractor is seeking an experienced BIM Lead to join a major Data Centre project in West London on a contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a BIM professional with a strong background in large-scale construction projects to take a leading role in BIM strategy, digital coordination and information management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and management of BIM processes across the project.
Develop, implement and maintain the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and associated standards.
Oversee the coordination, quality and delivery of project information and digital models across multiple disciplines.
Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure compliance with project information management procedures.
Coordinate with design teams, consultants, subcontractors and site-based teams to ensure effective information exchange.
Monitor model quality, information standards and compliance with project requirements.
Identify and resolve model-related issues, supporting efficient design development and construction delivery.
Drive digital construction best practice and ensure alignment with project programme and deliverables.
Report on BIM performance, model progress and information delivery to the wider project team.Requirements

Proven experience as a BIM Lead or BIM Manager on major construction projects.
Previous experience working for a Tier One Main Contractor or within a large-scale construction environment.
Strong understanding of BIM standards, information management processes and ISO 19650.
Experience managing multidisciplinary BIM deliverables and coordinating large project teams.
Proficiency with relevant BIM software and Common Data Environments.
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Previous Data Centre experience would be advantageous
