A leading residential property management organisation seeking a Property Manager to join their Newcastle upon Tyne team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Property Management Team Leader on a salary of £25,000, this role sits at the heart of day-to-day customer service delivery. You'll manage residential property portfolios across mixed tenures, handling everything from tenant enquiries and maintenance coordination to budget management and compliance, whilst maintaining the high service standards Grainger is known for.
Manage day-to-day property service calls, complaints, and tenant enquiries across phone, email, and resident portal
Coordinate contractor works, budget management, and compliance documentation for mixed-tenure residential portfolios
Deliver exceptional customer service to tenants, professionals, and internal teams whilst supporting business KPIs Preferred Requirements
Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service in a property management or similar environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) to at least intermediate standard
Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise multiple deadlines consistently
Ability to work professionally with diverse personality types and manage stakeholder relationships effectively
Understanding of residential tenancy types, landlord and tenant legislation, and basic health and safety requirements in property management Preferred Qualifications
Minimum two years' experience in a similar role within the residential property industry
Knowledge of the Landlord and Tenants Act, Housing Acts, and when to escalate for legal advice
Relevant professional qualification or membership of a recognised professional body in property management Disclaimer
