Senior Software Engineer

Senior Full Stack Developer – C#/.NET, React, Azure

£70,000–£80,000 + Benefits | Remote-First | UK-Based

Are you a Senior Software Engineer who wants to build technology that makes a genuine difference to people's lives?

An established HealthTech organisation is investing heavily in its digital capabilities, developing a brand-new platform designed to transform how people access and interact with essential healthcare services.

This is an opportunity to get involved at an early stage, take genuine ownership of a new product and help shape technology that will have a meaningful impact on patients and healthcare professionals.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll join a small, collaborative engineering team responsible for developing and evolving a new customer-facing digital platform.

Working with C#/.NET, React and Azure, you'll build intuitive web applications and scalable backend services, with an API-first approach supporting integrations with existing and future systems.

Although part of an established organisation, the engineering team operates much like a startup. It's a fast-paced, collaborative environment where engineers have real autonomy, decisions are made quickly and there's a strong focus on delivering meaningful outcomes.

This isn't a role where you'll simply be handed a backlog of tickets and expected to deliver them.

You'll work closely with product specialists, designers and other engineers, contributing ideas, challenging requirements and helping shape both the technical solutions and the wider user experience.

The business is looking for engineers who care about what they're building, understand the needs of the end user and enjoy being involved in the decisions behind the technology.

What They're Looking For

They're looking for experienced Full Stack Developers who combine strong technical skills with a genuine product mindset.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET.
• Solid frontend development experience using React or another modern JavaScript framework.
• Experience developing and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience building and delivering modern web applications, ideally within a customer-facing or product-led environment.
• A good understanding of API development, integrations and scalable software architecture.
• Experience working collaboratively with product managers, designers and other engineers.
• The ability to take ownership of technical decisions and explain the reasoning behind your approach.
• A proactive mindset, with the confidence to challenge ideas, suggest improvements and think beyond individual development tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where autonomy, adaptability and ownership are valued.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

Make a genuine difference: Build technology that improves how people access healthcare services, creating better experiences for patients and healthcare professionals.

Build something new: Get involved in the early development of a major digital platform, rather than joining a team solely focused on maintaining existing systems.

Startup mentality, established business: Enjoy the pace, autonomy and influence of a startup, backed by the stability and resources of an established organisation.

Genuine technical ownership: Help shape the product's future, contributing to important technical decisions and influencing how the platform evolves.

Product-focused engineering: Work closely with product and design specialists, with the opportunity to influence not just how features are built, but why.

Remote-first working: Join an engineering team distributed across the UK, with the flexibility to work from home and very occasional travel to London, potentially as little as once or twice a year.

If you're a Senior Full Stack Developer who wants to build meaningful products, influence technical decisions and work on technology that makes a genuine difference to people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
