Night Porter

The Night Porter supports the smooth running of the hotel during overnight hours, ensuring guest safety, comfort, and excellent service. This role combines security checks, light housekeeping duties, front‑desk support, and early‑morning preparation to maintain high operational standards throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a warm, professional welcome to late arrivals and assist with check‑ins

Conduct regular security and safety patrols across all floors, exits, and external areas

Monitor CCTV and report any incidents or unusual activity

Handle guest enquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously

Maintain cleanliness of lobby, corridors, and public areas during quiet periods

Support night audit tasks, including basic administrative duties

Prepare early‑morning setups (breakfast area, reception desk, handover notes)

Ensure all doors, fire exits, and back‑of‑house areas are secure

Assist with emergency procedures when required

Strong customer service and communication skills

Reliable, calm, and confident working independently

Good attention to detail and awareness of safety

Ability to manage multiple tasks during quiet and busy periods

Professional appearance and conduct

Hours Overnight shifts, typically between 11pm–7am (may vary depending on hotel operations)
