We’re recruiting for a Social Media Manager to join a multi-brand business with a strong focus on e-commerce and consumer retail.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage social media across a portfolio of brands, with the majority of your time focused on a busy online retail business. You’ll create engaging content, plan campaigns and use performance data to help drive traffic, engagement and sales.

You’ll need to be creative, commercially minded and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. Whether it’s supporting a product promotion, reacting to trading performance or spotting a new content opportunity, you’ll know how to turn ideas into action.

Responsibilities:

Manage social media across multiple brands, adapting content and messaging to suit different audiences and brand identities.

Plan and deliver content calendars, scheduling posts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.

Create engaging, platform-specific content, including copy, graphics, short-form videos and promotional content.

Support online sales and trading priorities, aligning social content with product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns and key retail periods.

React quickly to changing priorities, adapting plans when sales performance, stock availability or promotional activity changes.

Track and analyse performance, using engagement, traffic and conversion data to understand what works and improve future campaigns.

Support email marketing activity, including campaign execution and A/B testing.

Develop an influencer and ambassador programme, identifying relevant creators and building relationships to grow brand reach.

Work closely with internal teams, including design and marketing colleagues, to brief creative assets and deliver campaigns.

Stay on top of trends and opportunities, bringing fresh ideas and finding practical ways to turn them into content.

What we’re looking for:

At least two years’ experience managing social media in a professional marketing role.

Experience within e-commerce or online retail, ideally in a fast-paced consumer-facing business where social media supports sales and promotions.

A creative mindset, with the ability to generate ideas and turn them into engaging content.

Experience managing social media across multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.

A commercial mindset, with an understanding of how social media can support website traffic, customer engagement and sales.

Confidence using analytics to measure performance, report on results and adapt content accordingly.

Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines and changing priorities.
