Production Manager - Engineering

Our client is a very successful, unique, international engineering company who manufacture bespoke machinery for a large portfolio of customers throughout the UK.
The operation in Thetford employs 80 dedicated and loyal staff and the company is riding high at the moment with an annual turnover of over 20 million pounds per year.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, an experienced Production Manager with a background in engineering or manufacturing is required to oversee engineering workshops, managing fabrication, welding, installation and finishing operations.
This is a key leadership role, acting as the link between senior management and department supervisors to ensure production runs safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

We are looking for someone who can combine strong people management skills with a practical understanding of engineering production.
