Location: Inverness / Hybrid - one day every 3 weeks

Salary: Circa 45K – 55K + Benefits

Mechanical Design Engineer required by an established and fast-growing engineering company developing a diverse range of innovative products and equipment in an exciting niche sector!

This is a varied, challenging role spanning the full design and development lifecycle, from initial concepts and 3D modelling through to prototyping, testing and manufacture, with the added satisfaction of seeing your designs brought to life and used in real-world applications

Essential:

• Mechanical design engineering experience
• Strong 3D CAD skills and ability to produce detailed engineering drawings
• Experience designing mechanical components, assemblies or equipment
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with FEA, fabrication or structural design
• Experience taking products from concept through to manufacture
• Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering projects
