Kitchen Porter

Contract Options Reading is recruiting reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porters to work in a school in Oxford (OX4).

Apply ASAP! The sooner you apply, the better your chance of starting on 2 November. An enhanced DBS check is required, so applying early is essential. Having an enhanced DBS can also open doors to further opportunities. This could become a permanent role working for a presigious contract caterer.

What We Offer

Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm

Weekly pay

Holiday pay

Meals on duty

Temporary ongoing work through our agency, depending on the client’s requirements

Duties Include

Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment

Keeping kitchen areas clean, tidy and hygienic

Supporting chefs and other kitchen staff

Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures

Assisting with deliveries and putting stock away

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience working as a Kitchen Porter is essential

Reliable, punctual and hardworking

Well organised, with the ability to use your own initiative

Able to work well as part of a team
