Field Service Engineer / Mechanical Engineer

Birmingham & surrounding areas – up to 30 miles
Up to £37,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime + Company Van

Woodrow Mercer Engineering are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer / Mechanical Engineer to join a reputable, market-leading organisation covering Birmingham and surrounding areas, within approximately 30 miles of Birmingham.

Coffee experience is NOT essential.

We are particularly interested in mechanically minded engineers with experience in fault finding, servicing, repair and maintenance.

Engineers from the following backgrounds are encouraged to apply:

• Forklift Engineer / Forklift Technician
• Mechanical Engineer
• Maintenance Engineer
• White Goods Engineer
• Coffee Engineer
• Vending Engineer
• EPOS Engineer
• Commercial Catering Engineer
• Commercial Laundry Engineer

The Role

• Service, maintenance and repair of commercial equipment
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Diagnosing and repairing equipment
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Installation and commissioning
• Travelling to customer sites across the Birmingham region
• Completing service reports
• Providing excellent customer service
• Working independently as a field-based engineer

Full manufacturer training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to move into a new sector.

Forklift Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and technically minded Field Service Engineers are particularly encouraged to apply.

Coffee machine experience is desirable but NOT essential.
