Primary Supply Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of primary schools across Hastings and the surrounding areas who are seeking adaptable and enthusiastic Primary Teachers to support their classrooms on a supply basis.

We have a variety of opportunities available, including flexible day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term positions across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for flexibility or an ECT keen to gain experience in different school settings, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2 in line with the school's curriculum and expectations
Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups
Support pupils' academic progress, wellbeing and development
Follow all school safeguarding and child protection procedures

We Are Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within UK primary schools, including placements completed during teacher training
Confidence teaching across the primary age range
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A flexible, professional and reliable approach
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
