Domestic ASHP Engineer / Air Source Heat Pump Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a ASHP Engineer / Air Source Heat Pump Engineer to join an established business specialising in renewable energy and energy-efficient solutions for residential and commercial properties.
As a ASHP Engineer / Air Source Heat Pump Engineer, you will manage domestic air source heat pump projects from initial surveys and system design through installation, commissioning and aftercare. This full-time role offers salary range of £40,000 – £52,000 and benefits.
You should be based within the RG (Reading), SL (Slough), GU (Guildford) or KT (Kingston upon Thames) postcode areas.
You will be responsible for:

Conduct property surveys, calculate heat loss and design appropriately sized ASHP systems.

Select equipment and design heating systems, preparing schematics and installation specifications.

Install, commission and test heat pumps and associated heating and hot water equipment.

Diagnose faults, service systems, complete repairs and check system performance.

Maintain installation records, advise customers on system operation, liaise with suppliers and colleagues, and perform other duties as required.
What we are looking for:

• Experience working with domestic ASHP systems.
• Background in carrying out heat-loss surveys and heating system design.
• Practical installation and commissioning experience.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating, or an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of low-temperature heating systems.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• A full UK driving licence.
