Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Yolk Recruitment is working with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for their growing engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-invested production facility where engineers are genuinely rewarded for their development. Starting on £42,000, you'll have the opportunity to increase your earnings through a structured competency framework, with salary progression available up to £50,000 as key engineering milestones are achieved.

You'll play a key role in maintaining production performance, reducing downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across a busy manufacturing operation.

What you'll be doing

Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across site machinery and production equipment.
Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimise downtime.
Fault finding on PLC-controlled equipment, inverters, drives and control panels.
Supporting continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Completing maintenance documentation and ensuring accurate engineering records are maintained.
Working in line with all health & safety procedures and engineering best practice.
Contributing to the overall performance and reliability of the manufacturing operation.What you'll need

Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience working with PLCs, control panels, drives and inverters.
A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance engineering.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Flexibility to work a 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights shift pattern.What's in it for you?
