Location: St Paul's, Central London
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x Monday–Saturday and 2x Sundays & Bank Holidays

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious corporate office building in St Paul's, Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer to take ownership of a modern, 7-storey commercial office building, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and emergency maintenance across a range of electrical and building services systems.

You will be the sole engineer permanently based on site, giving you plenty of autonomy and responsibility. You won't be completely on your own, however, as you will be supported by a foot mobile engineer three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across electrical and building services systems.

Respond to reactive maintenance requests and diagnose faults efficiently.

Maintain and test emergency lighting systems.

Undertake electrical maintenance, repairs and fault-finding.

Carry out basic building services and HVAC maintenance.

Ensure all plant, equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently.

Respond to emergency maintenance issues and minimise building disruption.

Complete maintenance records, reports and relevant compliance documentation.

Manage day-to-day maintenance requirements while taking ownership of the site.

Work alongside the supporting foot mobile engineer to ensure the smooth running of the building.

What We're Looking For

A qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

Previous experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.

Good knowledge of PPMs, reactive maintenance and electrical fault-finding.

Experience with emergency lighting and HVAC/building services.

A proactive, organised approach with the ability to work independently.

Good communication skills and a professional attitude suited to a corporate office environment.
