Residential Support Worker – Children's Homes (Permanent)

Location: Winkfield & Ascot, Berkshire
Pay: £15.00 – £15.50 per hour
Sleep-in: £60 per night
Hours: 40 hours per week
Holiday: 240 hours per year
Contract: Permanent

Pro Social Partners are working with North Star Children's Homes to recruit multiple Residential Support Workers across their homes in Winkfield and Ascot. There are several vacancies available now.

The Role

• Provide safe, nurturing day-to-day care for young people living in the home.
• Build positive, trusting relationships and support young people with education, health and independence.
• Keep accurate records and daily logs in line with Ofsted requirements.
• Work as part of a close team to deliver each young person's care plan.
• Work a mixed shift pattern (07:30–22:00, 07:30–14:30, 14:00–22:00) with sleep-ins; average 1 weekend off in 3.

About You

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential.
• Experience working with children and young people, ideally in residential care.
• Patient, resilient and committed to making a difference.
• Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
