Social Worker – Safeguarding / Court (Permanent)

Location: Haringey, North London
Salary: £40,182 – £52,194 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent

Pro Social Partners are working with the London Borough of Haringey to recruit permanent Social Workers into their Safeguarding and Court service.

The Role

• Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
• Undertake Section 47 enquiries, assessments and direct work with children and families.
• Prepare reports and present at child protection conferences and core group meetings.
• Work closely with partner agencies to reduce risk and improve outcomes for children.
• Keep children's voices at the centre of all assessment and planning.
• Manage care proceedings and PLO work, preparing court statements and giving evidence.

About You

• A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
• Post-qualifying experience in child protection and/or care proceedings.
• Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
