Social Worker – Safeguarding, Looked After Children or Children with Disabilities (Permanent)

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: £38,220 – £46,142 (package up to £49,142)
Retention Payment: £3,000
Contract: Permanent

Pro Social Partners are working with Bradford Children and Families Trust to recruit permanent Social Workers across Safeguarding, Looked After Children and Children with Disabilities teams.

The Role

• Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
• Undertake Section 47 enquiries, assessments and direct work with children and families.
• Prepare reports and present at child protection conferences and core group meetings.
• Work closely with partner agencies to reduce risk and improve outcomes for children.
• Keep children's voices at the centre of all assessment and planning.

About You

• A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
• Experience within Children's Social Care.
• Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
