Groundworker / Breaking Out Operatives

Liverpool (L1 8LY) £19.00 per hour Temporary Contract Immediate Start Available

We are currently recruiting for 2 Labourers / Breaking Out Operatives to join a project in Liverpool city centre on behalf of a respected construction contractor.

This role involves assisting with breaking out works using handheld breakers as part of a two-person team. Operatives will rotate on the breaker approximately every 30-40 minutes, ensuring safe working practices and reducing exposure to vibration.

Key Duties

Operating handheld breaking equipment.
Assisting with demolition and breaking out works.
Rotating breaker usage with another operative.
Keeping the site and work area clean, safe, and tidy.
Supporting other site activities as required.
Following all site health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Valid CSCS Card.
Previous experience using a breaker on construction sites.
Willingness to work as part of a team and get involved with general labouring duties.
Reliable and hard-working attitude.
Ability to follow site safety procedures at all times.

Manual Handling
Pre-Online Site Induction

Site Risks

Slips, Trips and Falls
Appropriate control measures and site safety procedures will be in place.
