Reach Flt Driver

Evoke staffing are recruiting for an experienced Reach Truck driver for our client based in Droylsden. The role is ongoing Mon-Fri 07.30am-16.30pm.

The role is based in a cold store environment with the temp being as low as -20c. PPE will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks to pick, place, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse
• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately
• Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying shipments against documentation
• Handle materials with precision, ensuring proper stacking and storage according to safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse layout and workflow processes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to promote a safe working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience operating reach trucks or similar forklift equipment in a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control
• Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment troubleshooting and repairs
• Strong materials handling skills, including heavy lifting and precise placement of goods
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and safety protocols
• Excellent attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork orientation
