Sales Office Manager

The key objective of the Sales Office Manager is to create a proactive, high-performing Sales Office that actively manages customers and orders, develops its people, identifies new sales opportunities and consistently delivers an excellent customer experience.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Sales Office Manager to lead our small Sales Office team and deliver an outstanding customer experience from enquiry through to delivery.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, improving processes and spotting opportunities to grow revenue. Experience in a B2B sales environment is important, and exposure to an online direct-to-consumer (D2C) operation would be a real advantage.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, motivate and develop the Sales Office team, setting clear expectations and building a culture of ownership and accountability.
• Take responsibility for the customer journey from order receipt through to delivery, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
• Monitor outstanding, delayed and back orders, resolving issues before they affect the customer.
• Build strong B2B customer relationships and identify opportunities to increase spend, order frequency and product range.
• Support and improve the online D2C customer experience, working effectively across sales, logistics, warehouse, purchasing and finance.
• Outbound calling to dormant accounts and lead follow-up to win new business and grow the sales pipeline.
• Set and monitor meaningful KPIs covering sales, service, order accuracy, conversion, productivity and customer retention.
• Review processes, improve efficiency and ensure CRM, customer and order information remains accurate.

Experience & Attributes
The successful candidate will ideally have experience within a sales office or sales environment, with previous experience of managing or leading a team.
They will be:
