We are currently recruiting Gut Room Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced gut room operation based in Preston, Hull.

Pay Rates

Starting pay rate: £14.54 per hour
Overtime after 40 hours: £18.17 per hour
Saturday overtime: £21.81 per hour
Bank Holiday work: Double time
Attendance Bonus: Earn an additional £1.00 per hour worked by completing all scheduled hours each week

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
7:30am to 6:00pm

This is a full-time position offering consistent hours and regular overtime opportunities.

Your Time at Work

As a Gut Room Operative, you will be working within a fast-paced meat processing environment carrying out a variety of production duties, including:

Processing and handling animal by-products in accordance with company procedures
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
Working efficiently to meet production targets
Operating within health and safety guidelines at all times
Assisting with cleaning and maintaining the work area
Supporting the wider production team as required

Previous experience within a meat production, food production, abattoir, slaughterhouse, or processing environment
The ability to work in a physically demanding role
Experience working in a fast-paced production setting
A strong work ethic and reliable attendance record
Good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
