Eaton Syalon are partnering with a growing Nottingham business to recruit an Office Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who has built a good foundation in administration and is now looking for a role where they can learn more, take on additional responsibility and gain exposure to HR and recruitment.

You don't need to already have HR experience. We're looking for someone organised, confident and proactive who enjoys working with people and has a genuine interest in developing their career within HR.

What you'll be getting involved in

• Supporting recruitment and new starter administration
• Preparing employee letters and documentation
• Helping coordinate interviews and onboarding
• Updating employee information and internal systems
• Responding to telephone and email enquiries
• Producing documents, reports and correspondence
• Coordinating meetings, calendars and internal communications
• Supporting managers and colleagues with day-to-day administration
• Keeping records accurate and up to date
• Getting involved in additional projects and responsibilities as your experience develops

What we're looking for

You may already be working as an Administrator, Office Administrator, Business Administrator, Receptionist or Administration Assistant and be wondering what your next step could look like.

You don't need years of HR experience. What we're really looking for is someone who:

• Has some previous office or administration experience
• Is genuinely interested in developing a career within HR
• Is organised and enjoys keeping on top of the detail
• Communicates confidently and professionally
• Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Is proactive and happy to get involved
• Wants to learn and develop rather than simply stay within a purely administrative role
