Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £95–£105 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, adapting learning to individual needs
Assist in delivering EHCPs, IEPs and behaviour support plans
Promote inclusion, independence and positive social interaction
Support emotional wellbeing, communication and behaviour regulation
Work closely with teachers, the SENCo and wider support staff

We’re Looking For

Previous SEND experience (desirable but not essential)
Transferable experience, such as care work, youth work, psychology or family SEND experience
A patient, resilient and proactive approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine desire to learn and develop within education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
