SEN Primary Teaching Assistant - LS4

Do you have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs? We are recruiting for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a welcoming primary school in LS4.

The Role

Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
Supporting children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and other SEND requirements
Encouraging pupil engagement and independence
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
Implementing personalised support strategies and interventions

The Ideal Candidate

Experience supporting children with SEND
Patient, nurturing and resilient approach
Strong behaviour management skills
Ability to adapt learning to individual needs
Relevant SEND or Teaching Assistant qualifications desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
