Civil Engineer

Loughborough

£40k-£48k plus benefits

Looking for your next step as a Civil Engineer with a consultancy where you can work on exciting projects, take ownership of your designs and continue developing your career? This could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

Our client is an innovative and forward-thinking engineering consultancy with a strong reputation for combining creative engineering with practical, buildable solutions. With highly experienced Directors and a collaborative team environment, the business offers an excellent platform for engineers looking to broaden their experience and take on increasing responsibility.

The consultancy is looking to recruit a Civil Engineer with 2-5 years' relevant experience to join its growing team in Loughborough. You'll work across a varied portfolio of projects, including commercial, healthcare and other development schemes, getting involved in the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion.

The role will involve drainage and SuDS design, flood risk assessments, earthworks, S278 works, S106 applications and build-over agreements, with the opportunity to take responsibility for your own projects as your experience develops. You'll also attend design and client meetings, making strong communication and interpersonal skills important.

Candidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering, have between 2 and 5 years' relevant consultancy experience and be proficient in Civil 3D. A sound understanding of civil engineering design and the confidence to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues will be highly valued.

This is a great opportunity for a Civil Engineer who wants more than just a design role, offering genuine variety, responsibility and the chance to progress within a supportive and technically strong consultancy.
