QHSE Engineer – Operational, Hands‑On & Multi‑Site

Midlands | Competitive Salary | Strong Benefits

Are you a practical, shop‑floor‑credible QHSE professional who enjoys being out in the business, solving problems and making a visible impact? This role gives you the chance to work across a varied technical environment spanning manufacturing, electronics, warehousing and distribution, supporting teams who genuinely value strong Health & Safety and Quality leadership.

A growing technology organisation is looking for a QHSE Engineer who can bring confident, hands‑on Health & Safety expertise into busy operational settings, while supporting wider Quality and Environmental systems across multiple UK sites.

If you enjoy variety, autonomy and influencing how people work day‑to‑day, this role will suit you perfectly.

Delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings and coaching

Supporting internal and supplier audits

Contributing to environmental compliance and continuous improvement

Exposure to FAIRs, supplier evaluation and product regulatory compliance

Who This Role Is Ideal For

This role is perfect for candidates from:

Manufacturing (assembly, machining, production lines)

Electronics (components, PCB assembly, technical distribution)

Warehousing & logistics (goods-in, storage, dispatch)

Distribution environments (stockists, technical product handling)

You’ll thrive here if you enjoy being visible on the shop floor, influencing behaviours, and helping teams work safely and effectively.

What You’ll Bring

NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)

Strong hands‑on H&S experience in manufacturing, electronics, warehousing or distribution

Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions

Confidence delivering H&S briefings and challenging unsafe practices

Internal/supplier auditing experience

Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100D, ISO 14001, ISO 45001

A proactive, approachable style and the ability to influence at all levels

Why This Role Stands Out

Variety across multiple sites and different technical environments

Strong support from senior QHSE leadership

Opportunity to shape safety culture and strengthen standards
