HGV Technician

We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established commercial dealership in Basingstoke. The HGV Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring safety, compliance, and optimal vehicle performance. Performing routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
Conducting vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and addressing any issues identified
Ensuring all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standardsRequirements of the HGV Technician:

Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a related commercial vehicle role
Relevant Level 3 technical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Valid driving licence; an HGV licence is advantageous
