Abatec is currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Warehouse Assistant / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client based in Weston-super-Mare.

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone with a hands-on warehouse or stores background who is looking for a stable role within a busy logistics and production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Supplying production teams with materials.
• Managing stock movements and maintaining accurate stores records.
• Processing goods in and goods out.
• Picking and preparing orders.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Supporting general warehouse and logistics operations.

What We're Looking For

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no penalty points – essential.
• Previous experience in warehouse, stores, logistics or production.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• A reliable, practical and safety-conscious approach.
• Willingness to carry out hands-on warehouse duties.
