Automotive Equipment & Consumables - UK Wide Role

Ideal Candidate Location - 1 hour of Midlands

Birmingham, Coventry, Northampton, Leicester

Up to £70,000 Basic Salary + £15,000 Bonus + Electric Company Car + Benefits

Our client is looking for a driven RSM looking to step up, or an experienced NSM to lead and push the sales team forwards as part of a longer-term growth and succession plan.

Your Role as a National Sales Manager:

It's a 100% team management position; there's a team target but no personal quota for you.
Responsible for leading, motivating and developing a team of 6 Area Sales Managers operating across the UK.
Driving sales performance, building a winning team culture and delivering against ambitious growth targets.
Developing and implementing a national sales strategy.
Conducting field accompaniments, performance reviews and business planning sessions.
Building strong relationships with key accounts and supporting the team on major opportunities.
Working closely with senior leadership to shape commercial strategy.
Accurate forecasting, reporting and pipeline management.
Identifying new business opportunities and driving market growth.
Mix of field, office, and home-based working.Ideal Background for the National Sales Manager Position:

As a minimum, you must have managed B2B ASM and Field Sales teams before, ideally with 4 or more direct reports.
You'll have some sales knowledge of the industrial distribution or automotive and motor factor verticals.
Proven experience to manage, coach, develop and support a sales team with members varying 6 months experience to 18+ years.
Able to have those difficult discussions whilst being approachable and supportive.
Excellent communication, leadership and relationship-building skills
Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
Full driving licence and right to work in the UK without sponsorship.The Company recruiting for the National Sales Manager:
