£43k salary + £20-30k commission + car allowance
A field sales role with a global automotive business, a realistic route to £70k OTE and a already successful target achieving territory that's yours to grow further.
Our client is a fast-growing international automotive services business and some of the strongest brands in the industry behind it. We're looking for a driven Area Sales Manager to win new business and grow key accounts across the North-East Midlands Corridor – Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire
This is a true hunter-farmer role. You'll own your patch, retain and grow existing customers, open doors, pitch prospects at flagship sites and close deals from first call to signed contract.
What you'll do

• Prospect and win new B2B customers across the territory
• Manage and grow a successful target achieving portfolio, further increasing volumes and value
• Cross-sell the wider group, including vehicle recycling and green (OEM) parts services
• Build proposals, respond to tenders and lead contract negotiations
• Run customer review meetings using management information to uncover new opportunities
• Represent the business at industry events and keep your CRM spot on

What you'll bring

• A proven track record in field-based B2B sales within the automotive sector
• A deep-seated belief in establishing and growing relationships through face-to-face meetings and an approach that priorities these over virtual meetings.
• Experience in leasing, fleet services, remarketing, telematics or similar would be a big plus
• The tenacity to create your own pipeline and the confidence to ask for the business
• Strong commercial awareness and skill at upselling and cross-selling
• Excellent organisation to juggle prospects, accounts and internal stakeholders
