The Firm

A well-established solicitors’ firm is preparing to open a brand-new office in Bognor Regis and is looking for a Commercial Property Assistant to join the team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the new office from the outset, with the chance to play an important role in supporting the commercial property team and helping the new office grow.

The Role

We are looking for a Commercial Property Assistant to provide administrative and practical support to the commercial property team.

Ideally, you will already have some experience within a commercial property environment and understand the requirements of working within a legal setting. However, the firm is also very open to considering someone who is enthusiastic, organised and keen to develop a career within commercial property.

Full training and development will be available for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day administrative support to the commercial property team
• Assisting with the progression and administration of commercial property matters
• Preparing and maintaining legal documentation and correspondence
• Liaising with clients, solicitors and other relevant parties
• Managing files and ensuring records are kept accurate and up to date
• Supporting the team with general administrative duties
• Assisting with the smooth running of the office as the new Bognor Regis location becomes established

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Ideally experienced within commercial property or a legal environment
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Accurate and detail-focused
• Confident communicating with clients and colleagues
• Professional and approachable
• A team player who is keen to learn and develop
• Comfortable working in a busy environment and taking ownership of their workload

Experience within commercial property would be an advantage, but it is not essential. The firm is happy to consider someone with a strong administrative background who has a genuine interest in developing within the legal sector.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team at an exciting stage of development. The successful candidate will initially be based at the firm's Chichester office, while building work and preparations are completed at the new Bognor Regis location.

Once the new office is ready to open, the role will transfer to Bognor Regis.

Additional Information

• Salary: Around £26,500 depending on experience, with scope to increase for someone with strong relevant experience
• Hours: Full-time preferred, although flexibility can be considered for the right candidate
• Location: Initially Chichester, moving to Bognor Regis once the new office opens
• Candidates must be able to commute to Bognor Regis
