Management Accountant

Your new role As a qualified Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of a fast-paced logistics business. Working closely with operational leaders across multiple sites, you will deliver accurate management accounts, insightful analysis and robust financial reporting to support commercial decision-making. This is a particularly exciting opportunity to join the business during a sytem implementation, where you will contribute to process improvements, systems development and enhanced management information. You will analyse key operational metrics including cost per kilogram transported, monitor payroll expenditure, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and help drive profitability within a highly competitive environment. What you'll need to succeed You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with previous management accounting experience gained within a fast-paced commercial environment. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be comfortable working with large volumes of operational and financial data to support business decision-making. Experience within a multi-site and multi-currency environment is essential, as is the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders outside of finance. Previous involvement in ERP implementation or systems transformation projects would be highly advantageous. Candidates with experience in logistics, transport or other operationally focused sectors will be particularly well suited to the role.
