Senior Steel Quantity Surveyor / Mid-level Steel Quantity Surveyor

Cornerstone Project Source Ltd is working with a leading structural steel specialist who is currently looking for a permanent Senior Steel Quantity Surveyor or a mid-level Steel Quantity Surveyor in West London. With a strong background in structural steel, you will join the commercial team with clear career progression, including a route towards a future Commercial Manager position for the senior role. Start Date: ASAP Salary: Senior Steel Quantity Surveyor: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum Steel Quantity Surveyor: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum (DOE) Job Type: Permanent Location: West London Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Duties: Manage and control project costs from initial estimate through to completion Prepare budgets, cost plans, and valuations to support project delivery Review plans, materials, and specifications to ensure commercial accuracy Liaise closely with site teams to monitor and report on project expenditure Negotiate contracts, manage subcontractor payments, and oversee financial risk Provide accurate cost forecasts and maintain strong financial control on live projects Contribute to the development of efficient cost management procedures and best practices Requirements: Strong experience within the structural steel or construction sector Proven background managing project costs and budgets Excellent negotiation and analytical skills Ambitious mindset with a desire to progress (senior applicants: into a Commercial Manager role) Confident communicator with strong attention to detail If you are interested, please send your CV for consideration, stating which role you are applying for.41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
