Main Purpose of the Role Working within Perth & Kinross Council is more than a job, it's about being part of something meaningful. We currently have the following opportunity: Pupil Care and Welfare Officer (Fixed Term until 31 March 2027)- PKC14346 £19,275 - £20,306 (30hrs, term-time only) Perth Academy, Murray Place, Perth The role requires a restorative, compassionate practitioner who is positive and solution-focused, who understands and has experience of engaging and working successfully with young people. This is very much a ‘boots on the ground’ role, supporting in corridors and spaces around the school to reduce, late coming and improve attendance. There is an support for families element to the role which involves contacting and supporting parents of pupils for whom we have not received notification of the reasons for absence. Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship for this post.
