Opportunities are available within business and industry sites, schools, care homes, healthcare settings and contract catering operations, working in line with Compass Group standards. These roles are ideal for skilled chefs seeking regular weekday daytime work, a better work-life balance and the opportunity to work across a variety of professional catering environments. What We Offer Monday–Friday shifts, 07:00–14:30 Casual and temporary assignments, with potential for ongoing work Opportunities across education, healthcare, business and contract catering Competitive hourly pay, paid weekly Ongoing support from Constellation, a leading hospitality staffing provider The Role ‍ Prepare, cook and present high-quality food to consistently high standards. Take responsibility for your section and ensure efficient kitchen operations. Support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team with daily preparation and service. Maintain excellent standards of food quality, presentation and portion control. Assist with stock control, food storage and minimising waste. Follow food safety, allergen management, hygiene and Health & Safety procedures. Adapt quickly to different kitchens, teams and service requirements. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar professional kitchen role. Experience in contract catering, business and industry, education or healthcare settings is preferred. Strong culinary skills and the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment. Good knowledge of food safety, allergens and kitchen hygiene. Level 2 Food Safety qualification as a minimum requirement. Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively within different teams. DBS certificate preferred, or willingness to obtain one where required. Reliable, organised and professional, with a strong work ethic.
