Are you a natural hunter who loves winning new business, opening doors and turning opportunities into revenue?

We’re looking for a commercially driven New Business Development Manager to join an established creative events and experiences agency, with an exciting opportunity to open new markets, win high-value clients and build a significant new revenue stream.

This is a genuine sales role for someone who thrives on finding opportunities, building relationships with senior decision-makers and converting conversations into signed business.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Working closely with the leadership team and creative, production and technical specialists, you’ll take ownership of new business development, identifying untapped markets and creating opportunities to grow the agency’s client portfolio.

From brand experiences and experiential campaigns to live events, event production and full-service event management, you’ll have a compelling range of capabilities to take to market.

Your focus will be on winning new business, not simply managing existing accounts.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Proactively identifying, pursuing and winning new business opportunities.
• Opening new markets and developing relationships with brands, corporates, agencies and senior stakeholders.
• Generating leads through networking, referrals, outbound prospecting and your own industry connections.
• Leading pitches, proposals, presentations and commercial negotiations.
• Developing compelling propositions that translate creative, experiential and production capabilities into commercial opportunities.
• Building a healthy sales pipeline, managing conversion and taking opportunities from initial contact through to signed contracts.
• Growing newly acquired accounts through cross-selling, repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Taking ownership of commercial performance, revenue generation and gross profit targets.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re keen to meet commercially minded business developers with:

• Proven new business sales experience within an events, experiential, live events or event production agency .
• A strong track record of winning new clients and delivering against sales targets.
• A genuine hunter mentality, with the drive to create opportunities rather than rely on an inherited client base.
• Confidence pitching to senior decision-makers across brands, corporates and agencies.
• Strong networking, relationship-building, negotiation and closing skills.
• A commercially astute, entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to identify new sectors and turn ideas into revenue.
• The motivation and accountability to own your pipeline, performance and results.

Experience selling technical production, experiential services or full-service event solutions directly to end clients would be particularly valuable.
