Risk & RAMS: Set standards for risk assessments and method statements; review high-risk RAMS; support permit-to-work, lock-out/tag-out and site safety plans.
Incident management: Lead incident and near-miss investigations using root-cause methods (e.g. 5 Whys, fishbone); track actions to closure and share learning.
Project support: Partner with Project Managers from bid through delivery - H&S plans, environmental aspects/impacts, quality plans, materials traceability, supplier quality.
Training & culture: Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and targeted training; coach leaders and supervisors; promote reporting, learning and continuous improvement.
Supply chain assurance: Pre-qualify and audit contractors and key suppliers; manage quality/HS&E requirements in contracts and performance reviews.
Reporting & KPIs: Produce clear HSE dashboards (e.g. audit completion, NCRs/CAPA, environmental metrics, training compliance) and board-level insights.
